Hm, looks exciting, but what exactly is the deal with Amanda Peet's character? She is definitely on Mulder's side. Is she an informant? Is she working with him? Was that scene of them dancing just the actors fooling around on set or part of the scene? Seems a bit weird to tag Mulder up with another agent when both DD and GA are in this thing.

First of all, the cut right before them dancing shows Peet putting on a big coat, indicating to me that she is freezing. They are probably dancing/moving to keep warm. The whole scene was in different takes it looks like, but it is her getting out of the car, them talking about something, and then chasing the organ donor guy. And just because this is the only scene we have had pics/vid of does not mean it is going to be the Peet show. After this week, they will probably have the holidays and will resume shooting when GA is there. That is the footage I am looking forward to! But thank you nonetheless, any xf news is good news!

Xibit and Amanda Peet are both in the film playing agent's from a special unit within the F.B.I. who pull Moulder out of Fedreal Prison and reactivate his's Agent Status at the beging of the movie. CC had already revealed this much at Comic Con people! Stop sowing gossip and discored about season's 8 & 9 never happening, that's not cool. The real question should be where's Skully?

Oh please, have you read the script? Because unless you have, and have counted the number of scenes or something, the fact Gillian isn't filming yet is not good enough reason to assume the co-star of the frakkin' motion picture is gonna have less screentime than some other female character.

I cannot wait for this to come out! i have seasons 1-7, a script from one of the seasons, and lots o' merchandise so i cannot wait till this movie comes out!!! I love david duchovney and gillian anderson! they are wonderful actors and they have good chemistry on and off set. they work well together.

I'm so thrilled to see video of XFII, for which I've been waiting sooooo long! Please continue to
post lots of material on XFII. I'm really looking forward to seeing Scully on screen again. If
Scully and Mulder aren't romantic in this film, I think I'll scream. Nine years (okay, maybe it
took only eight...until the episode GA directed, "all things"...anyhow, nine years is PLENTY,
and considering they've had a "love child" (albeit part-alien) together, it would be pretty
disingenuous at this point to keep them from being romantic (when they're away from the
office, of course). Oh, and I really hope Skinner's going to be in this film, because he is my
kind of hero. I also miss CSM; too bad he's dead...or IS he? I CAN'T WAIT! A fan in Toronto.

Am I the only person who is a bit skeptical about this cast line-up? They've gone from an amazing supporting cast of Glenne Headly, Terry 'Locke' O'Quinn, Martin Landau, Armin Mueller-Stahl and Blythe Danner for the first film to Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly and... Xzibit?!? And, to make things worse, the fact that the only potentially interesting character in that list is in Aberdeen, Scotland during filming (?!?) suggests that, unless Donald Trump has changed his mind about the golf course and decided to move Hollywood to Balmedie instead, I find it odd that they're obviously letting what could potentially be their best supporting actor go to waste in probably only a few scenes if he's finished filming already! I REALLY want to be proved wrong but I don't want to be disappointed.

My opinion is that Chris Carter is simply making the long-sought second x-files movie. Script and actors are secondary to getting it done and out of the way. One big problem is that he killed Krycek and the Lone Gunmen, and Spender (are there others?); and this severely limits a Mythology-themed script - but I'll see TXF2 anyway - regardless.

Open your eyes at THIS weekend, guys... WE NEED PIX OF GILLIAN AND DAVID together! :P

I would like to see Mulder and Scully together, in a romantic scene, Why not? they are the perfect couple , I enjoyed to see the love and their relationship in the show. I read an article that David and Gillian asked the writers not to include sexual scenes. It's not necessary that. But what We, the fans want is a romantic scene, something beautiful to end the romance, something sutil, not rude or disgustin, something to remember a beautiful, caring, tender, love, pure love, tha's their relationship.We want love scenes, I hope David and Gillian change their minds and think about it and give us, the best.

Hell yes! Finally, a follow up to my favorite series! I hope you don't mind, but I added this page to stumble upon, so if your site goes down for excessive bandwidth use I'm sorry! I do agree with what one person said though, why the hell is Mulder working WITH the feds and not on the run? The end of Season 9 told a different story than what I'm seeing here... Hopefully this can be rectified soon! Oh, and why the hell is Xzibit listed on the IMDB cast list for this film, but Mitch Pileggi (Assistant Director Skinner) is not? HERESY!!!

This is great...I really cannot stand the wait.
I'm wondering though...what do you all think the general fan reaction to this movie's release into theatres will be? I mean-- do you think it'll play at most theatres, and if so, do you think it'll receive an uproarious reaction on the first day of showing? I just know that so many people are excited for it, and it's very anticipated by loyal fans. I would just be disappointed if I went to see it and I was one of 10 people in the theatre. I want it to be a big deal!!
