Jake Grieves For His Friend

Sources from the set of Jake Gyllenhaal's new movie, "Brothers" are saying that Jake hasn't been the same since Heath Ledger's untimely death. No one usually is after the loss of a loved one.

Director Jim Sheridan is currently shooting scenes around Gyllenhaal, giving him time to grieve the loss of his friend. Jake left the set of the film immediately after hearing about Heath's death but flew back a few days later to shoot an additional scene. While on set, Jake was out of it and staring off into space. A source on set said; "He was there, but he wasn't with us."

Jake & Heath two were more than just co-stars, Gyllenhall is the godfather to Ledger's 2 year old daughter Matilda.

Hopefully the production gives Jake all the time he needs. The film can wait for him.
