It's being reported that 48 year old actress Sean Young voluntarily
checked herself into rehab for alcohol related treatment on Monday.
Over the weekend, Young had made a drunken fool of herself at the Director's Guild of America Award show in Los Angeles. Young heckled director Julian Schnabel during his acceptance speech and was actually removed from the event.
A rep for young said "It is understood that Young has struggled against the disease (alcoholism) for many years."

Is alcohol abuse the reason she accused actor James Woods of making some sort of improper advance towards her?.
I had no idea this woman was an alcoholic. I always thought she was just tempermental-from the few stories I'd read about her.
I wish her much success in her stay in rehab and a bright future after that.

SHE IS A REALLY TALENTED ACTRESS WHOSE CAREER WENT ON THE DECLINE AFTER THE JAMES WOOD INCIDENT. VERY TRAGIC. I HOPE SHE RECOVERS AND HAS A GREAT FUTURE. BTW SHE PLAYED THE FEMALE ANDROID IN BLADERUNNER.
