You should remember that even though you would like to meet people in general, it would be much easier for you to converse with people who have similar interests. That being said, I am not discouraging you to make friends who do not have similar interests, I’m just stating the fact that conversation will start naturally if you share interests with other people. In order to increase your chances of meeting someone who shares your interests, you should go to a club or do an activity that you enjoy doing, and where other people will also enjoy this activity will be. This will put you in the most natural situation where are you will meet a lot of friendly people who share your interests.
2. Go To Parties
Even though you may think you don’t have any friends, you probably have at least some that will invite you to a party from now and then. You should not avoid going to these parties, as it will serve you a purpose to establish your friendships and bond with people you know, but it will also give you the opportunity to expand your social circle and meet new and interesting people that might become your friends in the future.
3. Follow Latest Trends
Ok, so you want to meet interesting people, but the question is -how interesting are you? Would you like to meet yourself? Would you date yourself? Would you befriend yourself? If you want to expand your social network and meet new and interesting people make sure that you work on your confidence and believe that you yourself are interesting, because other people will be attracted by your confidence.
4. Use Every Occasion To Socialize
If you are waiting for the bus, make small talk with someone standing next to you, you never know where it might lead you. Also, if you are invited to parties or social gatherings, don’t avoid them. Make sure that you seem open for a conversation when you to attend social gatherings, do not avert your gaze, cross your legs or arms and seem bored. No one will socialise with someone who seems boring, bored and completely not interested. If you want to be a part of a society, you have to socialize – it is as simple as that!
5. Expand Social Circles
So, you have one friend, but that one friend might have six other friends. Meet friends of your friends and see where it leads you! Now that you have all this knowledge you won’t have any troubles expanding your social circle and making new social connections!
